A Moment of Silence

   

Behind the window I quarantine myself...

In silence I meditate..

As tears race down on my swelly cheeks..

Painful imagination Cross my mind

As I see the human race parish..

& what we sweat for varnish..

Our loved ones fall..

Not because they've lost hope..

But because they are fighting a losing battle ...

A moment of silence..

Joy turns to sorrow..

As no one knows about tomorrow..

Only to hang on the little rope of hope..

Or to see a ray of light at the end of the tunnel

As we prepare for the worst but still pray for the best..

A moment of silence.
